Awards for flying the Eastwood High flag

Pupils at Eastwood High have been presented with Saltire Awards after volunteering to showcase their new school.

The new £29 million school welcomed in the public for last year’s Doors Open Day, which took place in September.

A group of senior students gave up their free time to act as guides, and volunteered to show their visitors all that Eastwood High now has to offer.

Saltire Awards are new Scottish government-supported honours recognising the contribution of young people to voluntary organisations.
