Back to School for Doors Open Day
The Glasgow Academy Milngavie (formerly Atholl Preparatory School) on Mugdock Road is going to be open to members of the public on Doors Open Day September 10.
The original ‘Athol’ building, which overlooks Barloch Moor, dates from 1931 and consisted of the Blue Room and Green Room.
In 1935 the Indian Room and library were added.
During the 1990s the school was extended to include a spacious nursery and sports hall.
Enjoy a tour of the school with displays of the school’s history and pupils work. No need to book ahead as tours will be on a first come first served basis. Tours between 10am to 4pm.
