Baffled by abandoned bike

According to one local trader, it was left there by two women several months ago and no one’s collected it since.

What makes it all so puzzling is, according to the witness, one of the women posed with the bike while her companion took a photograph.

He said: “I don’t know what to make of it all. Perhaps there’s been a falling out with a boyfriend and taking away the bike and abandoning it was someone’s way of getting their own back?”

It’s understood police have been informed of the situation.
