Band are sure to surprise

Campsie Mayfest, held in Milton of Campsie's Village Hall, has attracted a host of special musicians who appear regularly across Scotland to perform in the village hall this year - including the wind band ARCARA.

ARCARA is Scotland’s answer to the famous Dutch ‘Loeki Stardust’ Recorder Quartet. It’s a great band playing instruments of all sizes, making a really exciting sound.

They’re are sure to amaze you with their playing, playing something old (like Vivaldi), something new (like Vaughan Williams) and then surprising with African music.

Their varied show is on Saturday, May 14, at 7.30pm.

There will also be refreshments and you will get to see an art exhibition.

Tickets at the door are priced at just a £5 donation to hall funds), or are available at Milton of Campsie Pharmacy after May 1.
