Bank backs Clydesdale's Christmas Appeal
The TSB Bank got the New Beginnings Christmas appeal off to a flying start this week.
The bank donated 50 selection boxes and a fabulous selection of gifts for teenagers. The appeal aims to ensure that every child wakes up to a new toy on Christmas morning and it also provides festive hampers for struggling families. Donations can be handed in to the charity’s base at The Lodge, Kilmory Road, Carluke, from 10am until noon on Wednesdays and Fridays and from December 1 at those times at the Bridge in St Leonard Street, Lanark. Donations can also be left in Tesco in Carluke and Lanark. Cash can be given via the website www.newbeginnings.org.uk Last year the charity gave toys to 150 children and helped 78 families enjoy Christmas dinner.
