Birkwood House negotiations continue

The site of the former mental hospital is owned by development company Eatonfield.

It was given planning permission to build a hotel and leisure complex and residential houses during the summer of 2009.

And although it is yet to get off the ground, Eatonfield director of planning Steve Jones told the Gazette that the company has entered into negotiations with another developer to try to get the first residential stage moving forward.
