British Goldpanning Championships 2013 Slideshow

THE annual British Goldpanning Championships, held at Wanlockhead Lead Mining Museum, had all the hallmarks of the traditional image of prospectors in the Yukon.

The two-day event attracted a lot of interest from competitors and spectators and lived up to the hopes of the British Goldpanning Association – which wanted it to be special for the 25th anniversary.

The Scottish Championships were held on the Saturday and the British Championships on the Sunday.
