Bus routes affected by Aikenhead Road closure

From Monday, January 8 until Thursday, May 31 2018 Aikenhead Road will be closed for water works between Prospecthill Road and Curling Crescent.

During that time, First Bus is warning passengers of changes to bus routes.

The following services will be affected:

· Service 7A will not operate on Mill Street, Bankhead Road, King’s Park Avenue, Castlemilk Road, Curtis Avenue and Aikenhead Road (between Curtis Avenue and Prospecthill Road).

Alternative stops are located at; Westmuir Place, Prospechill Road, Aikenhead Road (between Prospechill Road and Calder Street.

· Service 74 will not operate on Aikenhead Road between Prospecthill Road and King’s Park Avenue

· Service 75 will not operate on Aikenhead Road between King’s Park Avenue and Cathcart Road.

Alternative stops are located at King’s Park Avenue, King’s Park Road and Cathcart Road

· Service 90 will not operate on Westmuir Place, Prospecthill Road and Aikenhead Road (between Prospecthill Road and King’s Park Avenue)

Alternative stops are located on Mill Street, Bankhead Road and King’s Park Avenue.
