Clare Booth (36) and her business partner Vicki Williams (42) founded Top Drawer Diva in 2011 offering hen parties from knicker making, to bunting and fab ’crafternoon sessions’.

With backgrounds in the lingerie world in both design and fabric technology with leading brand Panache, the duo needed a change to make way for their children and family life.

Activity based hen parties and ‘crafting’ sessions have spiked in recent years with programmes such as the ‘Great British Sewing Bee’,

From “knicker bingo”, to an ‘emergency’ kit for the bride the Top Drawer Diva sessions are proving popular with those looking for a chilled afternoon of sewing to a more racy evening with cocktails and knickers.

Clare said: “The great thing about what we do is that it is flexible and fun.

“Everything about the event is interactive and there is no age limit! The knickers always get a bemused look, which we love, but we can do anything from bunting, garters and everything in-between.

“The best thing is that our business works for us, after I moved back to Scotland instead of seeing a problem, Vicki and I sought a solution to launch Top Drawer Diva up here.

“We are now also offering classes and local stitch clubs adding to the sewing revolution!”
