Cameronian Conventicle takes place tomorrow
The ceremony, as ever, will be preceded by a 9.30am service at St Bride’s Church in Douglas.
The Conventicle takes place on the very site of the raising of the regiment, an event which led to three centuries of service to the nation before the Cameronian (Scottish Rifles) were consigned to history with its official disbandment in 1968.

This year’s ceremony will inevitably look back 100 years to the Cams’ huge sacrifices in 1915.
