Carlibar families save vandalised garden
VOLUNTEERS at Carlibar Family Centre have given the garden a makeover following an attack of vandalism.
The Barrhead nursery was recently wrecked by vandals, with play equipment damaged and plants ripped out. However, parents were soon on the case, and enlisted help from the young people at Spark of Genius, a learning centre in Paisley, to clean the place up.
Head teacher Stephanie McIntyre said: “It was a real shock — there was a lot of damage and the kids couldn’t get out to play.
“But the response was absolutely amazing and we’d like to thank everyone.”
