Agnes Nelson (88) first became aware of the cat when it came through the cat-flap of her home with her own moggy Zucci.

Caring Agnes noticed that it was starving and was quick to offer it something to eat.

However, since then it has kept coming back for more and Agnes hopes it can be reunited with its owner sooner rather than later.

Agnes said: “Now it’s coming in every day. It’s eating Zucci’s food now.

“It even sleeps where my own cat usually sleeps.”
