Carluke sisters meet for first time in 73 years

CARLUKE woman Margaret Wilson wept tears of joy at a surprise visit from her sister Sylvia – an astonishing 73 years after they’d last seen each other.

Margaret (82), of Unitas Crescent, met up with her younger sibling (73) during a family get together also celebrating the 61st wedding anniversary of Margaret and her husband Robert.

“My mum knew nothing about her sister’s visit,” said Margaret’s son Andrew (58).
