ST ATHANASIUS Primary pupils have once again dug deep and saved the lives of dozens of people in the Third World still affected by leprosy.

The children took part in a sponsored fitness day at the school and raised £1640 for LEPRA.

Charity representative Marion Barr delivered a short Powerpoint presentation to the pupils explaining that it costs just £25 to change the life of a person suffering from the disease.

And with the money the pupils raised, 66 people will have their lives changed forever.
