Carluke’s Agnes Forrest celebrates her 100th birthday

IT was a double celebration for Carluke centenarian Agnes Forrest as she marked her 100th birthday with family and friends.

Her party coincided with the 50th birthday of her niece Janice Parlett.

Earlier in the week, Provost Eileen Logan presented Mrs Forrest with a card to mark her birthday.

Daughter Anne Scott said: “Mum’s party was a great success and she was up on the dance floor three or four times.”
