Carluke’s Nicky Sommerville raises over £2k for Help for Heroes

A CARLUKE woman has raised over £2,000 for charity Help for Heroes – in memory of her son.

Nicky Sommerville, along with best friend Tracy Lammie, raised the money in memory of son Mark who died at the age of 17 and who had wanted to join the Army before he was killed.

The charity night, held in Carluke Rovers Club, featured an auction, raffle and a disco to follow, with the exact total raised being £2215.
