Carnwath Primary School fashion show to raise awareness of Fairtrade

Youngsters at Carnwath Primary had good reason to be proud of themselves when they took to the catwalk to display a new range of fashions – because the clothes had been designed and made by pupils themselves.

The pupils wanted to raise awareness of Fairtrade, and the fashion show was an unusual way of doing that.

The Fairtrade logo was worked into T-shirts and even headgear for the event.
