“Crews are currently on scene assessing and repairing the damage. We aim to have the library open as soon as possible.

“Members of the public can use other libraries in the meantime as well as online services for renewing items.”

Two councillors’ surgeries - Anne McNair and Councillor Gordan Low - which were due to take place in the library on Saturday, September 14, have now been relocated to Bishopbriggs War Memorial Hall on Balmuildy Road.

Councillor McNair’s surgery will be 10am-11am and Councillor Low’s will run from 11.15am-12pm.
