Scottish Friends of Children Concern Foundation (SFCCF) — set up by Giffnock woman Phyllis Hutchison after stumbling upon the orphanage on holiday — joined forces with Stamperland choir Sounds International this month for a charity concert at Eastwood Park.

The show — which included two specially-written numbers by musical director Eddie Binnie — raised £7,000, which will be used to build staff houses on land next to the orphanage.
