Hide AdCanine Partners provides specially-trained assistance dogs for people with disabilities, and has managed to raise £120,000 over nine years from its national Bluebell Walk campaign.
All funds raised will train more dogs to assist service users with day-to-day tasks – from dressing to unloading a washing machine.
Scottish fundraiser Dale Gormley commented: “Pollok country park is the perfect location for a great spring walk and we’re hoping for a fabulous turnout on the day.
“As a charity we receive no government funding and rely on support from the public, so this is a great way to raise money for a worthwhile cause while enjoying a relaxing day out with the family – and your pet dog is welcome too.”
Entry is £5 for adults and £2 for children under 10 – to find out more, contact Dale on 01786 447208 or email [email protected].
