Cheque-ing out the proceeds of charity gig
Pupils from St Matthew's Primary School, in Bishopbriggs, recently presented a cheque to the St Nicholas Care Fund - a charity set up and run by the Archdiocese of Glasgow to help local people in need.
P4-7 pupils gave a ‘Carols by Candlelight’ concert in St Matthew’s Church for all the parents and collected £296.73. Liz Taite from the charity collected the cheque and gave a talk to the whole school telling the pupils how the money will be used. Liz is pictured with some of the carol singers.
