Child stopped with baseball bat in Abronhill
Police have confirmed that a 13-year old boy has been reported to the Children's Reporter on a charge that relates to an offensive weapon.
Officers stopped the boy at 7.30pm in Broom Road on Friday.
And he was found to be in alleged possession of a wooden baseball bat.
The child was brought home and charged with the alleged offence in the presence of his parents.
