Choose a local charity
Yorkshire Building Society opens a new branch on Giffnock’s Fenwick Road on Monday — and residents will soon be invited to nominate a local charity partner.
As part of the building society’s 150th anniversary, members of the public will be able to visit the Giffnock branch to nominate small causes to receive a £100 share of a total £150,000.Nominations open on August 18, and close on August 23.
The fund is part of the society’s annual Make a Difference campaign.
