Closure of junction in Clarkston to allow for road works

A one-day closure is scheduled for a junction in Clarkston to allow for repair work to be carried out.

Cathkin Drive junction at Campsie Gardens is scheduled to be closed to traffic on Monday, October 7.

The closure notice is in place for between 9.30am and 7pm, but this is the maximum period, so the road could be re-opened earlier.

Work will be carried out to repair a manhole cover.

Only vehicles associated with the works will be allowed access, but pedestrian access will be unaffected.

The alternative route is Cathkin Drive – Lomondside Avenue – Dumgoyne Place – Campsie Gardens – Fereneze Avenue – Cathkin Drive, and vice versa.
