Clydesdale crime at all time low

IT is safer to walk the streets of Clydesdale today than at any time before in recorded history.

Indeed, last year, of our area’s 58,000 residents, only 38 of them became victims of violence of any sort and there was not a single murder.

That being said, those 38 citizens assaulted in the year from April 2013 were still 38 too many for Clydesdale’s police commander Chief Inspector David Walker, reviewing the annual crime statistics issued by the new Police Scotland force for its first year in existence.
