Clydesdale woman's multiple challenges to MS

Most people raising funds for charity take on one challenge, but Stacey McCallum is facing 20 different tests throughout 2016.

“I’m taking on challenges throughout the year for the MS Society, Scotland because I want to help find a cure!” said Stacey.

“My family’s lives were turned upside down when my mum was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis seven years ago.

“I have vowed to fundraise every year to try to help find a cure.”

And this year Stacey (24), from Climpy, has challenges week after week.

The photos here were taken at the Tough Mudder event at Drumlanrig, an obstacle course involving masses of mud. “It was brilliant!” said Stacey.

Others include Bing Blazer, Great Woman’s 10k, the Spartan Sprint, Adrenaline Rush, Total Warrior, Rough Runner, and the Scottish half marathon, as well as the Great Scottish swim. Stacey, who works part-time as a fitness instructor, is becoming an all-round athlete,

She hopes to raise £1500 and is already well on the way.
