The baking hot sun on gala day certainly contrasted with last year’s dismal Coalburn Gala Day weather and it provided the perfect backdrop for a super Saturday in the village.

Queen Abbie, crowned by last year’s Queen Danniella Rossi, and her courtiers enjoyed the summer sunshine, as did the gala day organisers.
