Cornhill and Clydesdale Hotels change hands
Coulter's Cornhill House Hotel has been acquired by the Manorview Hotels Group for £1.55m it was announced this week as the present owners are retiring.
The new owner intends to refurbish and expand the premises to develop on its potential as a wedding destination.
And Pub chain JD Wetherspoons have confirmed thnat they have sold Lanark’s historic Clydesdale Inn and its ownershp will pass to the Hawthorn Leisure group on May 1.
All staff at the 19th century premises will transfer to the new owners, according to a Wetherspoons spokesman.
