Cosgrove Care serves up comedy
COSGROVE Care are fishing for laughs next week, as comedy club The Stand hosts a fundraising night for the Giffnock charity.
Comedian Billy Kirkwood hosts on Wednesday, April 17, joined on stage by sell-out star Gary Little as headliner, as well as Davey Connor, Julia Sutherland and Pauline Goldsmith.
Community fundraiser Nicola Diamond told The Extra: “The comedians are donating their time and humour, The Stand is donating its venue and staff, which means that 100 per cent of the procees will go to Cosgrove Care.
“If that’s not a good excuse for a night out, I don’t know what is.”
