Craigash Post Office in Milngavie has just undergone a major facelift to bring it up to date - with a fresh open plan style and longer opening hours.

The outlet now provides a low-screened modern style service point integrated into the retail counter and customers will be able to access a range of mail services, including special delivery, local collect, home shopping returns, online banking cash deposits and withdrawals.

It will now be open an extra 20.5 hours a week from 8.30am to 7.30pm, Monday – Saturday.

Damien Mulholland, Post Office area manager said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.

“We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs. This is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office.”
