Attempted robbery at Carluke newsagents
Police were called to a report of an attempted robbery at RS McColl's shop in Rankin Gait, Carluke, this afternoon.
The incident is reported to have happened around 3.40pm.
It is understood that nothing was taken, and the suspect made off prior to the arrival of the police.
Police enquiries are continuing.
