Bishopbriggs assault: Image released of teenager

A picture has been released of a teenager who is thought to be able to help police with an investigation into an assault in Bishopbriggs

The incident took place near to Kirkintilloch Road at the entrance to the Triangle shopping precinct at around 5.50pm on September 27 last year.

A male and a female required hospital treatment, and police are keen to trace the teenager pictured as they believe he may have information that could assist with enquiries.

The male is described as being 14-16 years of age, medium build, with short dark hair. He can be seen to be wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark jogging trousers and dark trainers.

Detective Constable Steven Gault, from Kirkintilloch Police Station said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male in the image, or for the male himself to contact police as it is important he be spoken to as part of our investigation as he may have information that can help.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact CID at Kirkintilloch Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3090 of 27/09/20.

"Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence."
