Boy stabbed at Milngavie skate park

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed at a skate park in Milngavie yesterday (Sunday) evening.

The victim was transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment following the attack in Lennox Park at around 6pm.

His condition is described as ‘stable’.

Police sealed off the entrance to the park and are now following a ‘positive’ line of enquiry.

A spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Sunday, June 14, a 15-year-old male youth was assaulted within the skate park area of Lennox Park, Milngavie.

“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries.”
