Honor Garbutt, 20, who is a patient at a private hospital in Mansionhouse Road, Glasgow, was last seen around 8.30pm on Tuesday evening near Millbrae Road in Langside, possibly heading in the direction of the Battlefield Rest/Queens Park area.

She is described as being about 5’1”, very slim build, blonde hair which she had tied up. When last seen, she was wearing a light blue coat with a fur hood, black tights and black shoes.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out but so far all attempts to locate Honor have been unsuccessful.

Inspector Jennifer Aird, Cathcart Police Station, said: “We are gravely concerned for Honor’s welfare. She is anorexic and is dealing with some personal issues at the moment. This coupled with her illness, plus the fact she has not been in contact with friends or family, is giving us grave concern for her well being.

“She is from England and is just here for treatment so she does not know the area at all.

“Officers are currently searching the area for her but we would also appeal for the assistance of the public to also look out for her.
