Sad discovery in Abronhill woodland
Police Scotland have confirmed that the body of a man was found in a wooded area near Abronhill around 2.55pm yesterday (Thursday December 10)
The family of local man Scott Lowrie, missing since Saturday, 28 November, have been made aware of the discovery.
Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
