Trouserless man arrested in Condorrat

Police have arrested a 43-year-old man in Main Road, Condorrat on Monday after his conduct was deemed a threat to road safety.

It’s alleged the man was shouting and swearing and running back and forward onto the road, causing drivers to brake excessively at around 5.25pm.

He then removed his trousers - and police arrested him.

The man was taken to Coatbridge Police Station and will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
