Dad anger at Lanark Grammar bus withdrawal
AN angry dad is claiming that a council pen-pusher endangered his son by suddenly withdrawing the child’s school transport.
The allegation comes from Mr Joseph Elliot whose 13-year-old son Kieren, an S1 pupil, caught the school bus every day to and from the Grammar since the lad started his education there last August.
Abruptly, last Wednesday afternoon, a council education department official confronted Keiren at the school and told him he wasn’t entitled to use the school bus anymore between his Kirkfieldbank home and Lanark Grammar – because of a lost application form.
