Do your bit to show Glasgow’s a Caring City

Glasgow the Caring city has teamed up with local organisations in the Balkans to ship truckloads of aid from Glasgow to distribute to a network of refugee centres.

The charity says the Scottish public have a “major role to play in this appeal by donating, volunteering and coordinating collections of vital clothing needed by refugees”.

They are looking for unwanted clothing in good condition, such as shoes, jackets, socks, hats and gloves as well as other clothing.

They also need tents, sleeping bags, medicines, pots and pans or toiletries.
