Dog owners asked to vote for favourite walks in Scotland

Dog owners have less than three weeks to vote for their favourite place to walk their dog in the hunt to find the Scotland’s top ten walks.

The National Trust for Scotland and Vets4Pets surgeries in Scotland, launched the search for Scotland’s favourite dog walks last month.

After four weeks of voting the three most popular dog walks are, Ben Lomond (Loch Lomond), Pollok Park Woodlands (Glasgow) and The Great Forest of Loch Ard (Stirling).

National Trust for Scotland’s assistant director, Countryside & Islands, Steve Callaghan, said: “Scotland is filled with many fantastic places to explore with your dog, this search is designed to celebrate just how many places around Scotland you can take your dog. Whether it be in the centre of a city such as Glasgow or Edinburgh to the picturesque coastline or the tranquil Highlands.”

To vote for your favourite place to walk your dog, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/scotlandsfavouritedogwalks.

Simply choose your favourite in each category and Vets4Pets will compile the results to see which are Scotland’s Top Ten Dog Walk venues.

Voting is open until August 31st 2015 and the results will be announced in early September.
