Dog walker attacked while out with his pet

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked while walking his dog.

The 51-year-old was assaulted at the entrance to Louden Hill in Robroyston on Saturday, March 9, between 6.30pm and 6.45pm.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a 34-year-old man has been charged with possessing a knife in Barmulloch.

Police stopped the man in Quarrywood Road on Sunday, March 17, at around 9pm.

* Two bikes have been stolen from a garden in Balornock.

The theft took place from Balornock Road sometime between Saturday, March 16, and the following day.

The black BMX and black and blue mountain bike are worth around £338.
