East Dunbartonshire house searched in massive police operation

Police Scotland detectives arrested five men yesterday, Monday, following an intelligence led operation in Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and Leeds.

The men, aged 64, 49, 42, 37 and 35, were arrested in Cumbernauld Road, Glasgow, and in the vicinity of the Fort Shopping Centre. In addition, five properties were searched in College Gate, Bearsden, Henry’s Place, Drongan, Ayr Drive, Irvine, Cortmalaw Crescent, Robroyston and Broadgate Drive, Leeds.

A quantity of amphetamine was recovered with an estimated street value of around £100,000. A five figure sum of money was also recovered.
