EAST Renfrewshire’s fifth annual food and drink festival — feastRen — begins on Saturday with cooking demonstrations from top chefs such as Jacqueline O’Donnell.

Local restaurants are doing great deals from September 7 to 20 in the run up to the main festival weekend.

Festival tickets are £5 — under 5’s go for free with family tickets at £12.50 from www.feastren.co.uk.
