End of an era for Rob Roy

Supporters of Rob Roy football club took to the pitch at Adamslie Park recently to say farewell to the ground which is being vacated at the end of the season.

The fans match, organised by Rob Roy Travel Club, saw two 11-player teams battle out a 5-5 draw over 90 minutes - one wearing the iconic Rob Roy black and red hoops.

Refreshments were provided and there was also a glossy souvenir match programme produced for everyone to keep as a memento of the day’s events.

A pipe band were also playing for everyone’s pleasure - piping out the players and supporters at the end of the game for the symbolic ‘locking of the gates’.
