The group even played host to the theatre group M&M productions who put on a pantomime in January free of charge.

Organiser Natalie Hutchison said: “We fundraise as often as we can to be able to provide other activities at little or no cost

“I always think one of our barriers may be that we are a religious organisation and we would like to quash that as it isn’t our business who is religious and who is not.

“We are just really aware that that with the existence of food, uniform and clothing banks, families are struggling and we want to help in some way by making sure these circumstances have as little impact on children as possible.

“So many children feel disassociated and we’d like to try and help curb this if we can, even if it just for a small number of kids.”

The club takes place on the first Sunday of every month.

However, for one day only the next meeting of the club will take place on Sunday, March 26

The club also would welcome more helpers as the change of date above is due to a staff shortage. For more information contact Natalie on 0780 147 6568.
