Developer wants to build flats in conservation area of Bearsden

A property developer wants to build a block of flats in a conservation area in Bearsden.

Ledcameroch Homes Ltd has applied for full planning permission for the erection of three flats at 32 Ralston Road.

They want to demolish the existing single cottage-like home on the site .

They also want to form associated parking and landscaping on the site.

This is a resubmission for planning permission after the firm withdrew their original application in March 2020.

The applications can be viewed on East Dunbartonshire Council’s planning portal. TP/ED/20/0877 and TP/ED/20/0880
