Scottish Water is advising road users that a temporary closure of Drumclog car park in Milngavie is required to progress a £30 million project to improve services to more than 54,000 customers.

The car park will be closed from Monday, 15 February, for around five weeks to facilitate the works in this area.

This arrangement has been agreed in conjunction with East Dunbartonshire Council.

Jane McKenzie, communications manager of major projects at Scottish Water, said: “The car park will be closed to allow us to carry out additional work.

“While we fully appreciate this might cause some inconvenience for visitors to Milngavie reservoirs and Mugdock Country Park, we are asking everyone to respect these restrictions and adhere to them. We have plans in place to help minimise any disruption, with alternative

parking available at Nuffield Health on Strathblane Road. We are urging everyone to park responsibly.”

Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience and would like to thank road users in advance for their patience and understanding.

This work is being carried out for Scottish Water by its alliance partners Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA).
