New play equipment promised for Carluke’s Moor Park

Over the next few months South Lanarkshire Council will be installing new swings and the local authority is in the process of sourcing materials to re-build the kids’ roundabout which has seen better days.

In addition, hopes are high that more funding will be sourced and that the park, popular with many youngsters in the town, will be improved even further.

Carluke councillor and South Lanarkshire Provost Eileen Logan confirmed to the Gazette this weekthat the work would begin soon.
