Elaine Green, convener for education and equalities, said: “Our adult learning team offers an excellent service to anyone who wants to learn new skills, brush up on existing ones, find a route into employment or voluntary work or just meet other people in a supportive setting.

“I would encourage people to go along to one of our Adult Learners’ Week event — I am sure they would find them informative, helpful and fun.”
