Families in the frame

PHOTOMARATHON is back — and this time, it’s a family affair.

The East Ren event is splitting into two days and four different categories, giving photographers of all ages a chance to show off their skills.

The family and young snapper’s day is on October 13 at Eastwood Park gallery, from midday. Then on October 19, the 12 hour photomarathon will follow — asking pic takers to submit 12 topical photos over 12 hours.

Mum of two Kirsty Kyles — pictured with Lauren (5) and Lewis (7) — helped organisers formulate a family-friendly approach.

She said: “You want to encourage your kids to be creative, and I think my kids will really enjoy this.”
