Family kick off FUNdraising cycle in aid of Home Start

A southside family have cycled their way to a triple figure total for a charity dear to their hearts.

Joe Wilson, wife Chris and children James (11) and Alana (7) have raised £320 for Home Start Glasgow South by organising a cycle through Pollok Park.

Having worked for the family crisis charity Joe and Chris have a “close connection” with its “inspirational” work.

The event was the first annual Home Start South FUNdraiser, and Joe hopes to make it a yearly event.

He told The Extra: “We raised £320 which I know can make a huge difference to some of the neediest families in what is my local community.”
